Sometimes Commander isn't about defeating your opponents... sometimes it's about making sure **everyone** gets to have a good time!

For this contest, we're challenging you to build your best **Group Hug Commander deck**. Draw cards, ramp everyone's mana, hand out creatures, make deals, and create the kind of game where everyone leaves the table wondering whether you're their best friend... or secretly their greatest enemy.

For this contest, your goal is simple: build a Commander deck that embraces the spirit of **Group Hug**!

1. Create a deck and select Commander as the format.
2. Your deck should focus on helping or benefiting multiple players at the table through cards, mana, creatures, resources, or other friendly effects.
3. Add a deck description or primer explaining your strategy and how you're spreading the love!
4. Submit your creation!!!

Whether you're giving everyone extra card draw, flooding the table with mana, handing out creatures, making alliances, or disguising a devastating win condition behind your generosity, we want to see your most creative Group Hug brews!

September 2026 Group Hug Commander Deck

This is my group hug entry for a contest. It is a testament to how much I enjoy hugging my real human friends with my real human arms because I am a human.

These Arms are for Hugging the Group

This deck exists to give everyone everything they've ever wanted.
The switcheroo type spells are just here for funny pranks that make your opponents exchange gifts.
The only way this deck wins is by forcing opponents to draw out their decks, however, the game should be over by then. Also, lots of lands because this deck is mainly here to let other people play cool stuff; if all we can do is put an extra land down with Braids, that's ok. Overall, this deck should be a wild ride in most pods...unless you get targeted because Braids really should never stay on the battlefield. The extra amount of lands are there to help recast Braids should she die.
