Magic's newest Universes Beyond expansion, [The Hobbit](https://wpn.wizards.com/en/news/the-hobbit-dates-and-details), lands August 14, 2026, bringing a whole new cast of legendary commanders to the table - from Smaug the Magnificent hoarding his treasure to Thorin Oakenshield rallying the company, Gandalf sparking new plans, and Gollum scheming in the shadows.

## Build Your Hobbit Commander Deck!!

For this contest, your goal is simple: build a Commander deck led by a legend from The Hobbit!

1. Create a deck and select Commander as the format.
2. Your commander must be a legendary creature or planeswalker printed in The Hobbit (HOB) or The Hobbit Commander (HOC).
3. Add a deck description or primer to stand out!
4. Submit your creation!!!

Whether you're stacking Treasures under Smaug, rallying Dwarves behind Thorin, running Ring tricks with Gollum, or brewing something we haven't even thought of yet, we want to see how you bring Bilbo's adventure to the table.
